Membership
- New Members MUST establish a handicap by playing five rounds of 9 holes of golf within 45 days of joining the league. During this 45-day “grace” period, you may play in the league ONLY on days where there is no tournament or team play. After 45 days from the date your membership was processed, if you have not established a handicap, you will not be allowed further play in the league until you do establish a 9-hole handicap. You can acquire a “trend handicap” by playing and posting just 5 nine-hole rounds. Your handicap is calculated by using the lowest 10 scores of your most current 20 scores posted. The highest handicap our league allows to be posted is 30.
- Our Handicap Committee will post all league/tournament scores.
- You are responsible to post all casual golf scores. According to AWGA rules, you must post all scores. This can be done by entering the AWGA site at awga.org or at the pro shops in SCG.
- You may play two times before joining the league.
- Guests may play two times.
