Our golf club has approximately 340 members who prefer to play 9 holes of golf instead of the traditional 18. We are a chartered member of the AWGA (Arizona Women's Golf Association). Our home course, Desert Springs, is located in Del Webb's beautiful Sun City Grand where we play golf on Tuesdays.

ATTENTION LADIES GRAND NINERS RETURNING MEMBERS
WE NEED YOU!
WE ARE INTRODUCING "THE BUDDY PROGRAM"
YOU ASK, WHAT IS THIS?
This is an opportunity for returning members to volunteer their assistance to NEW members by helping them to feel welcome and show them the ropes.
Some of the ways in which you can help will be:
- Make personal contact when your Buddy is assigned.
- Make sure your phone number and e-mail is available to Buddy.
- Make a point of attending the “kick-off” meeting. There will be tables reserved for New members to sit with their Buddy.
- Special "Pairings" will be arranged for members and Buddies for the first few weeks.
- Familiarize New members with league day procedures and Internet sign-up.
- Answer questions and concerns on golf rules and etiquette.
- Arrive early our first play day. Meet with your Buddy-review sign in procedures and score cards.
- Make sure New member feels comfortable and welcome.
These are just a few of the areas you will be of assistance to the New members. If you would like to help “Jump Start” this program, please contact:
